A substantial handwoven blanket from Jitana, made by Mayan weavers in Guatemala's western highlands on traditional wooden looms. The yarn is a wool-cotton blend — roughly 90% wool from indigenous highland sheep, 10% locally sourced cotton — the kind of blend that is warm without weight, with a softness that improves with use.
The Momo is woven in clean, considered stripes — each colorway reading a little differently depending on the natural fiber variation in that batch of yarn. A bed topper for the colder months, equally at home folded across the arm of a sofa or the foot of a guest bed.
Available in several stripe variations; small variations in pattern and dimension are inherent to the handwoven process and considered a mark of authenticity rather than a defect.
