A pair of vintage Japanese Moriage lamps — the traditional raised-enamel technique in which the decoration is built up off the surface of the ceramic, giving the pattern a tactile, dimensional quality that flat-painted ware can't replicate.
The bodies follow a classic ginger jar silhouette, wrapped in dense floral and scroll patterning in warm gold, deep brown, black, and soft ivory — the kind of chinoiserie palette that reads ornate up close and quietly luxurious across the room. The raised enamel catches light beautifully, particularly when the lamps are lit from within.
Polished brass hardware, original wiring intact. Sold as a pair; shade not included so the buyer can choose between a quiet white linen drum or something more sculptural.
